Stanley sees Boston

Christian's Stanley just arrived in Boston and has taken the city by storm! It looks like Stanley is having a fabulous time with Stacy.

The pictures and messages I have received from Stacy and Stanley:

Stacy took Stanley to Copley Square in Boston. This is Stanley in front of the Old South Church that was completed in 1875.

Here he is in front of the John Hancock Building. This building was designed by I. M. Pei and was built in 1976. It's the tallest building in Boston and from certain angles it appears to be flat just like Stanley! Stacy used to work in there and when it was windy the building swayed back and forth like a pirate ship.

Here is Stanley going into the Boston Public Library. The Boston Public Library was the first free library in the United States. It started in an old school house that was built in 1854.

Here's Stanley hanging out with the statue in front of the library.

Here is Stanley in the marble entrance to the library.

Here he is with a lion...don't get to close to that paw!

Stanley thought the reading room would be a good place to do homework. Shhhhhh.

It was a nice day to be outside in the courtyard. Stanley liked the fountain but was sad that it wasn't turned on yet.

Stanley has had a very busy first day! We can not wait to see what other sites Stanley will see in Boston.
