Flat Stanley just enjoyed lunch in Mumbai! He had Samosa with spicy
sauce, chopped onion and fried green chilli with a side of Dahl and
because he is from the good Ole USA he washed it down with a Coke!
More news:
Flat Stanley waited in line for an Auto-Rickshaw today. It's a
type of taxi that all the locals in Mumbai use to get around. They are
heaps of fun, super cheap and sometimes like being on a tiny
ROLLERCOASTER!
Stanley also helped me shop for Balti dishes which are the
little brass dishes that Curry is traditionally served in. Stanley
bartered the price down for me and then got the man in the shop to pose
with him.
After all the excitement of the Auto-Rickshaw ride, a
ride on the local train and shopping, Flat Stanley and I stopped for
some traditional Indian sweets. Stanley really liked these little cakes
that looked like tiny apples and I got myself a Fanta, India's favorite
sodapop!
